don't you see
the emotions bottled up inside of me read my lips do you hear what they're really saying? don't you see the dreams that you shattered long ago watch my eyes can you see the tears that are falling? don't you see the colors that have faded over time can you feel the things that i am feeling right now? don't you see don't you see you've hurt me i'm broken now don't you see don't you see i'm in a maze i can't be found don't you see i'm not the real me do the stars in the sky fade when time passes? does the warm summer breeze get colder in winter days? don't you see the feelings i can't hold back anymore feel the tears upon my cheeks it's not as easy as you think don't you see the things long since forgotten that spill out now broken hearted fallen soldiers can you see i'm not okay don't you see the facade i've built up walls to my heart sometimes even the strongest break down it doesn't take long not at all don't you see that i am saddened by society the way the world works now, it feels so wrong somehow don't you see that it's hurting to have to live this everyday every time i just wish i could fly away, go away leave this place.. don't you see don't you see this isn't how it should be don't you see don't you see i can forgive i don't forget don't you see i'm not the real me
