My Silent FriendA Poem by AllisonIt blows past you in a sweet little hurry With amazingly vengeful and unctrolled fury. But soon enough, my friend, you'll see How it's stop by and stay for some tea. You sit and you talk and have some chit-chat About your mom and your life and the neighbors old cat. There will be laughing and sighing and even some crying, But all in the end you're left nothing but spying. You find your faithful friend is restless. 'Goodbye...' it says, it whispers, yes. You see and you realize, yet there's no one to claim, That this silent breeze left the same as it came. © 2010 AllisonAuthor's Note
