Random Throughts of Today

today was cloudy

today was grey

i came outside

the neighbor said hey

i took a walk

down the street

there wasnt a person i didnt greet

i wished for rain

but it didnt come

a bunch of clouds

just passing the sun

i sat at the park,

on the squeeky swing

the teatherball chain hitting the pole

all i heard was ding ,ding !

i swung high

feet in the air ..

cold wind on my cheeks

breeze in my hair

today i spent time all alone

no ipod no homework

and no phone

not even a glance at the time

i was completely alone

and it was just fine

people miss out on the moments to think

as time drips

like a leaking sink

so next time you feel you are stressed

take time to think everything

that makes you blessed
