Easy, huh?

Easy, huh?

A Poem by Laraine Davis

Breaking my heart

Was easy for you from the start

The way you couldn’t wait to make me cry

And hold out till the day I die

I might be shedding these tears

But that doesn’t mean I still have my fears

I’m no longer hurt of what you did

I’m only hurt by what you forbid

You wouldn’t let me be held by you

And you didn’t even care if had learned to

Live without your love

Because it was hard to do when you’d push and I’d shove

We’d leave each other in this world to bear on our own

With each of our own problems unknown

But one thing I found out

Guys never have a doubt

That there lady won’t be fine

And the girl can no longer call their man mine

This was yet again another touching piece!!! I can also relate to this one too...

what i like most about this was how you didn't care what anyone would say, you just put how you felt, and it was beautimous!!!

nice job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cute. =) I liked how you touched upon an ex's unwillingness to see that you moved on. This happens oh so often, and you captured it well. There were a few typos, however, in the lines "I'm no longer hurt of what you did / I'm only hurt of what you forbid" - "of" should be "by". Otherwise, great job! ^__^
