Extraction

A Poem by Rainee Whiting

Extraction

all of me you try to see.
With thrashing hands you rip,
searching for all the secrets that I keep.

Screams, they escape,
as from me, each you tear.
Each extraction of the hidden me,
a piece I never wished to share.
