Him

Him

A Poem by Rainee Whiting

Him

As my winds of mental rage lifted,
he waited patiently upon my shore.
His arms reached out to catch me,
when mind and body could take no more.

As my storm again gathered,
he did what he could to shield my heart.
He wrapped me in all the good of him,
to keep me from pulling apart.
