Don't go, don't go, you'll never come back!!

Hold my hand.

Don’t let go,

Don’t leave me,

Don’t promise to return.

So do this one thing,

Hold my hand,

They say we need to let them go

To let them be who they are

But who is to say

That won’t take them away;

A far to God’s eternity?

Author's Note

I love this poem, personally. its idea behind it was inspired by all those movies where a woman hugs her soldier-lover and he goes off to war, never to return. (or its about a mother and her child.) you have to let them go, it's want you must do, but you can't handle that separation, and you are sure it will drive you insane. So this poem is how, i believe, it feels inside at that kind of situation. your heart frantically says "don't go..!!"
