Who can find the invisible?

I’m invisible
Can’t you see
Why do I ask
No you can’t

I’m the unseen
I am the missing
You’ll never see me now
My true feelings at least

Yet there is one who can
Who I’ve seen look at me
Over crowds he has seen
He has seen what makes me invisible
He has seen me flicker

And for this he fights against me
Working for my help
Whether he knows what he does
Or does what he can
I can not say

But no one, not yet,
Can make me visible
Will be my invisible friend
Make this invisibility painless
For me and them

No one has come yet
To this invisible world
To remove all the fear and darkness
And give me the wings
To evade these worst fears.
