Llave de mi corazón (The Key To My Heart)

Llave de mi corazón (The Key To My Heart)

A Poem by SilentSKY
"

Un poema que escribí después de mi corazón era aplastado. (A poem I wrote after my heart was crushed.)

"
Mi corazón estaba entero
Mi corazón era joven
Mi corazón estaba fresco y nuevo
En este gran mundo malo de los nuestros.
Mi corazón estaba cerrado todavía;
Nadie propiedad de la llave;
Hasta que abrió la puerta
Para mi serenidad.

Creí que lo sabías
¿Quién es clave que había
¿Quién es el tesoro que pertenece
¿Quién es el corazón que tenía.
Pensé que se dio cuenta
Que te amaba
Pensé que se dio cuenta
Que tenía mi llave.

Pero estaba equivocado;
Usted tenía dos llaves.
Una llave de mi corazón
Una de las claves a la suya.
Así no se disculpa se intercambiaron
No hay perdón deseado.
Usted aplastado mi clave
Nadie admiraba.

TRANSLATION:

My heart was whole
My heart was young
My heart was fresh and new
In this big bad world of ours.
My heart was still locked;
No one owned the key;
Till you opened the door
To my serenity.

I thought you knew
Who's key you had
Who's treasure you owned
Who's heart you had.
I thought you realized
That I loved you
I thought you realized
That you had my key.

But I was wrong;
You had two keys.
One key to my heart
One key to hers.
So no apologies were exchanged
No forgiveness desired.
You crushed my key
No one admired.

My heart is sad
My heart is dead
I feel like death
Is under my bed.
Now now one has my key
No one can own my key
Because you stamped on it with your foot
Crushing it deadly.

Spanish is such a beautiful languge :)
And it becomes all the better when the words you're saying are beautiful in English, too. I really like this poem, especially the last line, "Aplastándolo mortal."
The whole thing just makes so much sense, y'know? I'm sure this kind of thing happens to a lot of us, I mean it happened to me twice before and it just really sucks. I'm sure you'll find someone eventually, though, we all do in the end.
