The Man That Kidnapped My Heart

The Man That Kidnapped My Heart

A Poem by SilentSKY

My heart belonged to no one
No one's heart belonged to me
Till I saw
Whom I shall call
The man who kidnapped my heart.

The man who kidnapped my heart
Was perfect in every way;
From the way he walked
To the way he talked
to the way he danced the lead.

The man who kidnapped my heart
Glanced up and saw me
I smiled and waved,
And I hoped and I prayed
But he just looked back down.

A woman came
Embraced him, he did the same
Kissing her like a sweet dove.
My hand had fallen down
And my smile had faded
For the man who kidnapped my heart
Already had another.

The man who kidnapped my heart
Had crushed it so hard;
Though I barely knew him
And he barely knew me
I still felt hollow inside.

This was excellent. I really loved the way that you told it like a story and the whole "kissing her like a sweet dove" is very good description Thumbs up :)
