Fateful Night~ A Poem Remembering the Titanic

Fateful Night~ A Poem Remembering the Titanic

A Poem by SilentSKY
"

:) I wrote this myself :)

"
She was great, and meant for great things,
Till that fateful night;
When she rose straight up in the water
And sank below our sight.
Screams of dying souls
Pierced that fateful night,
Pain and fear filling their hearts,
Till the Lord called them home.

The golden light shone down upon Them,
Filled with forgiveness and desire
To be with Him forever,
On that fateful night.
As the screams were silenced,
And death filled the air,
The living felt nothing but pain and sadness
While the dead felt no such despair.

The Lord grasped Them in his hands,
And held Them tight as ever.
Telling Them that pain shall never come again,
Until it is their time to be reborn.

The icy waters and the night
Left the living very alone,
Some may see it as a tragedy,
But I see it as going home.
