A little self realization here.

I won't claim your first kiss

I won't claim your every secret

I won't claim your smile

Or the wrinkles by your eyes

Or that dance you did under the moonlight

I'll let go of the dreams you always had

Of me and you hand in hand

I won't hold on to your future plans

I won't hold on to your empty promises

I'll keep in mind your hollow words

I'll keep in mind of the little white lies

I'll let my heart fall deep

I won't let it sink

I'll cut the anchor short

I'll bring myself back to my feet

I'll walk

I'll skip

I'll dance

I'll feel again

Nothing to claim but myself
