Inconsistant

Inconsistant

A Poem by Aiza

the reinforcements haven't arrived
i am no victim
this is not a hostage situation

don't be alarmed by my consternation
trepidation?
agitation

i am only my own
i live
i breathe
i move

but you, you don't
you fulfill
you inhale inspiration
you maneuver with exquisiteness

you anger me
but i can't release myself

captivity of my own desire
willing to lose my temper,
just to say you were wrong
when all along...
well, we're really not so strong
