Mavournin

Mavournin

A Poem by Aiza

When you're gone

I have to force myself to get up

           and carry on

Without you in my life, there's no listening to our favorite songs

And there's just a dial tone on your end

    of the phone

It hurts too bad when i'm reminded of our dreams, of our wishes

And even of the rain

It kills me to know that I might not see you again

or hear the sound of your voice

when i need it the most

When you're gone

The memories continue living on

--In my mind, in my heart, in my soul

It's yours, I'm yours, you make me whole

Over three months now that I've been missing your face

And your touch and the taste

(of your mouth)

You'll never be a mistake

When you're gone

So don't regret, I don't regret

just the things i should have said

But maybe one day I'll get a chance

Until then, I hope you always believe

What I say, what I write,

                 These words, what they mean

Mavournin, i love you.

You have grown into such fantastic writer. I love how you can pull your life into your work, and make it sound so sorrowful and beautiful.

Fantastic poem darling
