a country's  happiness

a country's happiness

A Poem by Rosa Enriquets

I pray among the blooming wildflowers in the asphalt,
Oh Lord! Bring this countries misery, to a halt.
Gaining happiness is possible as long as,
a person is grateful for all the he has.
Criminals will not acquiesce
and innocent are suffering due to their transgress.
But even criminals once demanded justice.
This track was taken when they were showered with injustice.
Even children are overshadowed by a dark cloud,
where nothing else can be heard except the devils sound.
Coercion wouldn't be able to take a high hand,
if education was a base to be able to take a stand.
Don't judge others because they sin differently then you.
You'd be on their side if their pain you knew.
So feel their pain and bring an end to it,
to exhaust the fire which was lit.
Inflation is directly proportional to poverty,
if it seizes so will people's animosity.
The weak cant make a stand but can only bear.
Many hope and rise everyday with a hope peace is near.
However even the riches wont make a say;
because many of them make money out of others dismay.
 if only these people living in a community,
were all treated with equality;
where rank, status, wealth and hardships had met its demise.
This country's dwellers would see happiness before their eyes......
