Black HoleA Poem by Raevyne
A black hole blossomed in my heart
Devouring my lungs and arteries Within my ribcage it unravels veins Slowly- without anguish Just strange sadness, A haunting melancholy. I throw offerings into the abyss To quell the creeping of its edges Nightclubs, teacups, old books, new songs It devours them and leaves me empty Void, aching. © 2011 Raevyne
