This Mask is Molded to Look Just Like Her Face - Great Quality, High Price.

A Poem by Cassandra

Painted-on smile, just like a clown.
Like a prisoner, with the chains hanging down.
Wanted to be an actress since birth.
Who knew faking a smile is more than its worth?
Pain on my heart deep in my chest.
It's fine - day to day I try to do my best.
Make each scar shine just like a tattoo.
Secrets buried deep from you.
Don't worry - this blood always stays inside.
It's just myself that can't help but hide.

No offense.

About
Hey all! My name is Cassandra, though I prefer my nickname, Rae. I've been writing since I can barely remember. I used to love to write epic fantasies, much of the JK Rowling/Tolkien type, but now I'm.. more..

Writing
The Fall. The Fall.
