Destruction in my wake

Rowen is one of the last of her people when an unknown force arrives on earth to exterminate all who live.

It's said that humans are resilient; they aren't the fragile animals that most think. Famine, plagues, wars. Tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes.
Humans, are one of the strongest animals to live the earth.
It's definitely not because of their soft exteriors, or their easily broken bones. No, it's their minds. Their deep desperation to live. Some lose their battle early, from having a weak mind. But the few that survive, rebuild and become fruitful in their labor.
Until the next tragedy begins.
What happens when something, not of this world, comes to try and exterminate these resilient creatures? I'll tell you what happens, mass f*****g destruction.
