I'm your bro or your hoe?

I'm your bro or your hoe?

A Poem by Radhika

You talk of video games,
Of action movies and Batman.
You talk about Billie Joe,
And girls I cannot stand.

I'm sick of being addressed,
By cuss words that you throw.
I'm waiting for you to see,
That I'm your girl, not your bro.

And of course time and then,
There is love that's more of lust.
I'm waiting for you to know,
There is a heart beneath my bust.

I'm waiting for you to look,
At my hand that's not been held.
I'm waiting for you to wipe,
My tears from when you yelled.

I'm waiting for you to smile,
When you see me walking to you.
I'm waiting to be hugged,
And to keep the old things new.

I'm waiting for you to love me,
And if you can't, let me know,
Am I your fist bump bestie,
Or your use and throw hoe?
