Embrace Me

Embrace Me

EMBRACE ME

Tears came rolling by

One after the other

There was nobody to comfort,

Nobody to say it was okay,

Nobody to say I will love you -

no matter what

I ask myself a million times

If it is alright to run away;

Far far away into nothingness or

Only if eternal slumber could

embrace me like a child in its vastness.

Many a times have I felt

that not a soul cares

for this aching heart of mine.

Sorrow weighs me down

Every minute of the day

Loneliness seems to be hovering around me

day and night

Little by little I give myself away

For I can feel your arms wrapped around me

Embrace me like a child in your vastness-

To Thee I come.

I thought this was very touching
and true to the heat. A sadly
yet beautiful write.
