A Poem by Julie Spade

The sunlight beams violently into my eyes
Leaving me in an acute despise
Watching the peagon as it flys
Colliding into the sunrise

too exhausted for life
Praying for no disturbance by the house wife
I grab the angel colored sheets over my head
Praising the softness of my twin sized bed

Shutting my eyes, I moan
I must check my $2 phone
For it mocks me as I do not check it, leave Me alone!

No reviews no recognization NOTHING
'Writers to watch', was just a rotten fling
I recalled it was my everything

I am crushed and hurt
Feel as though I have been rubbing myself in dirt

Writing for countless hours
Losing my cultural power
Knocking down my confidence tower
Unable to smell the ever blossoming flower

I lost the title
My passion seems unvital
I lost the gold
As I taste the everlasting cold

You have beautifully portrayed your melancholy. In fact sometimes I also feel the same, but on my side I,m ready to take blame on me as I'm not able to take enough time for writing.

The rhyming scheme is also pretty good.

PS: Keep writing, don't let urself down coz if U think U r good then U r n if U think U r nit then no one can make u
