WHY NOT JUST SMILE?A Poem by Julie SpadeBeing Crowned Queen. Meeting Reality. In my ever growing and lasting dream i am pronounced Prom Queen in a space of purified white this feeling is too right with applause and a smile i hold my crown tall for the misfits and all i pray for the glory to last a while Long pampered hair without having a care wearing a long satin dress of the shade pink as i awake from the glossy dream i am splattered in obvious ink Laughter grew louder and louder into my sensitive ears my body cannot hold back the tears My biggest sorrow waterfall worthy of tears from my eyes my heart vows to not hold on to such despise an angelic song begins to play along the dark clouds swiped away The feeling would not go on ... i refuse to let it destroy my youth! Out the wooden doors i scream to mind no more! As i wipe the ink out of the satin, i begin to wonder what will i eat for breakfast tomorrow?
