Laugh Out Loud

Laugh Out Loud

A not-so-funny piece

Wow he’s such a funny guy
I don’t know just how or why
Now he’s said to me “good-bye”
Seems like just some funny guy
How can you just sit and sigh
I laugh so hard I tend to cry
Cows explode when chickens fly haha
This life seems like a big fat lie
Left and right bovine do fry
How ironic the birds say hi
Sitting in their cars eating wheat and rye
Mice overseas trying not to die
Envy those who will never fly
Yet hunger seems to cloud an eye
As they stare at that juicy pie
Mice just want to have a try
At least just one small reply
Laugh so you can get your high
Yell real loud through the open sky
Fishie’s home where the river runs dry
Strange it’s not the end of July
Look real far, see what you can spy
Mice in the hay just asking why
Wishing all the cows could just comply
Mice just want to have a try
