Sterilized

Sterilized

A Poem by Ramsey's Rebellion
"

This is a poem written in honor of our government and my role as a teacher. Enjoy!

"
Sterilized
a man with no voice
trapped in the shell
of criticism
emasculated by past mistakes
curtailed in his pursuit of freedom.

Euthanized
end it quickly
don't tarry with your lethal injections
this beast growls
waiting for the end to come
why wait and see?
expectation is the cousin of truth

Ostracized
kept at a distance
don't get too close
or you might become
contaminated
which surely would be
a form of social suicide.

Sterlized
unable to pass on to others
a legacy worth remembering
smothered by a culture of mothers
too busy protecting
too afraid of what can become
when a man, or woman,
is free.

Quite intriguing really and ponderful.
I can sense truth in your words.
Nicely done!
