My attempt at a carpe diem

My attempt at a carpe diem

A Poem by r
"

Carpe diem poem: Latin expression that means 'seize the day.' Carpe diem poems have a theme of living for today.

"

Live each moment

Of every day

However you want to

Live it that way.

Seize the bull

Grab it by the horns

Don’t look back

Always want more.

If you want to go

And talk to an old friend

Call them up

Do it again and again.

If you feel like

Doing something nice

For a stranger

Do it and do it twice

Whatever you

Have in mind

Go do it!

Don’t waste time!

Live each moment

Of every day

How ever you want to

Live it that way.

My Carpe Diem poem is an ironic vocalization of a devistating situation. It is... adding humor to a situation that isn't in the least amusing. If I could seize the day... I would... but the days escape me faster than I can grasp them. Salt slipping between my fingers. The things I want to do I cannot, no matter how badly I wish to do them.

This is cute.
Even if it IS a project... school?
