My attempt at a ballade

ballade poem: Poetry which has three stanzas of seven, eight or ten lines and a shorter final stanza of four or five. All stanzas end with the same one line refrain.

Wow I cant

Believe it

My mind wants to

See it

You think I’m nice looking?!?!

What kind of drugs are you doing?

If you really knew me, would you really like me?

 

I honestly am baffled

By the idea that

Someone thinks I’m

Pretty not fat

It’s a shocking difference to what I’m used to

After all I’ve been thru, but

If you really knew me, would you really like me?

 

I am flattered that

You like me

This is what

I’ve been waiting to see

It’s something to be

Wanted and needed, but

If you really knew me, would you really like me?

so yeah
i was just wondering
thinking and
pondering
If you really knew me, would you really like me?

Time is the test of friendship. We are all a little different. That is what make the world a good place. I like the poem. The questions of life could drive us mad. Wisdom comes when you don't give a damn about other opinions of your self. A excellent poem.
