My attempt at a narrative poem

Narrative poem: A poem that tells a story.

Once upon a time

Life was good

Everything going

The way that it should

 

Something came along

And made life better

Could I ever forget

that day? Never!

 

Even though it was

A horrible thing

It made me realize

Some things

 

Like I don’t

Need to stay

At

EA

 

That event showed me

Who my true friends are

And also taught me to

Guard my heart

 

Life’s a funny thing

One day it is nice

And the next day is hard

Make you think twice

 

Before doing anything

At all

Making you feel

So tiny and small
