my attempt at an acrostic poem

Acrostic poem: Poetry that certain letters, usually the first in each line form a word or message when read in a sequence.

            Phrases that rhyme are used in your standard poem

            almOst anyone can write poems

               mEter is very important

            Time to use imagery, literary devices and sophisticated words

                wRite about almost anything

  life is simplY  poetry

Nice work! I liked the fact that you tried something different, as an acoustic poem isn't exactly something that you see a whole lot of around here. I was a little hesitant as to whether you had fully executed the concept of an acrostic poem, however, I thought that this was a relatable, simplistic write. The last line left a smile on my face. :)
