My Life's Inspiration

many people tell me

"man you write really good!

it seems like you have something

that made you realize you could"

 

who is your inspiration

who could it be?

my two word answer is

"my puppy"

 

she has lots of fun

i call her my selah girl

she is so laid back

i doubt she has a care in the world

 

she lays around

and chomps on her bone

she lays at the door

till i come home

 

do i have an inspiration

yes i say

selah is my inspiration

every single day

This is a really good poem. You can tell you really love selah and that that love really inspires you. And the poem is really good to, it reads well and you do write well.

I just got a new puppy, a chi-poo, so this was very neat to see! It flowed well, but the last stanza was a little choppy. I loved the inspiration and the part about her waiting by the door. That is so sweet, and we all know what means. I liked it!
