Lost in the Clouds

Lost in the Clouds

A Poem by madaamaoi
"

Just something I wrote late at night... I dont blame you if you think its crappy

"

Photographs hang

Dusty on the wall

When somthing familiar

Becomes frightening

For just a moment

Then you remember

You're home

Music plays

You hear it echo down the halls

The creaks you grew up with

Sounds of your past ring in your ear

You're lost in the clouds

You never stayed in a permanant house

You never had a permanant "home"

You leave behind your memories and friends and photographs

And you cry when you're little

But then you grow old

Wear a suit and tie

You have to be strong

You can't cry

It's not acceptable in society

You cry in private

And someday

Maybe

You'll do like you did when you were younger

You'll get lost in the clouds again.

My favorite of yours, besides "Dressin' Like Hobos" XD
But really, this is beautiful, and I loved it.
