Waiting For You

Waiting For You

A Poem by rachielle
"

Another song.

"

Verse:

I did all that I could

To make you notice me

I was there more than I should

But you still couldn’t see

How I love every bit of your smile

And I’m mesmerized

When I look into your eyes

Chorus:

I wish you would just look

Right in front of you

‘Coz I’ve been standing here

Waiting for the time when you’d

See this girl waiting for you all along

Verse:

You’re talking about her

And all her perfections

Wanting to get to know her

But you never really knew me

How I love every bit of your smile

And I’m mesmerized

When I look into your eyes

Bridge:

I’m in front of you again

And you tease me and laugh

Not knowing

How these little things

Keep me going

Not knowing

This girl you’ve known for years

Had always been dreaming

That you’d

…Just look

Right in front of you

And really see what she’s going through

Coz I’ve been standing here

Waiting for the time when you’d

See me

And how I’m waiting for you all along.

This is your forte! Song lyrics.
Reading through I pictured Taylor Swift's 'You belong with me', not because you obviously like her, but because of the presented images in the lines.

This is good and I say you put music to it.
Keep writing Taylor---I mean Rach lol

This reminds me of a Taylor Swift song..no offence if you don't like her. The feelings you have for someone and trying to get the point across to them but they're either A) to blind to see it or B) just plain stupid. Good work :)

Dear rachielle,

This is quite good, actually. Very nice indeed. Your voice is quite clearly heard and your longing to be recognized and not to be invisible. Well that's life, both for male and female. This happens on both sides. And there's the attraction to this piece. It is something to which everyone can relate.

Greatly enjoyed. Excellent write!

Best regards,

Rick

I like this a lot my sentiments exactly how clueless some guys are. the ones that would love the ground they walk on are the ones they usually pass by for some airhead well built bombshell. they cant see the forest for the trees the saying goes they can't see whats in front of them. but you cant wait forever there will come a time when one must move on............good write

Like a couple of the others, this really did remind me of Taylor Swift! :) Haha, I liked it though. This piece was sweet, and genuine, and told a story that I think a lot of people will be able to relate with. I loved the bridge! I could almost hear the melody in my mind. hehe, nice work,

Like Lexis said, this reminds me of Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me"... only with a more realistic take on love. If you really put music to this, I can totally imagine a music video for this! - Clara

This is good, I could see it being a song, I think it would sound good acoustic. Keep it up! :)
