Insomnia

Another old poem I found in my 2009 planner.

Lying on your bed,
Thoughts rushing through my head.
Tossing and turning,
Trying to close my eyes,
Trying to sleep-
Anything-
To make me forget that
You're not here by my side.

Maybe dreams would suffice.

This is another good write. When we can't sleep
we think too much, then that makes it worse..I
know, been there done that:). I like the ending...
very fitting for this poem.
