Wait for a while,

Get on board;

And enjoy the ride.

 

So I did.

 

I shivered as the very thought

Of you entered my mind.

My hands shook,

You held them in yours,

And soon I was flying;

Then you smiled-

And I fell

Without second thoughts,

Or a parachute for security.

 

It got windy,

And soon,

We crashed.

 

I should've known.

 

I wish somebody

Could've warned me

To fasten my seatbelt

And hold on to my seat,

Or call for help

When I'm in need.

 

Coz as I got on board

To enjoy the ride,

No one was there

To guide the flight.

 

I got carried away

As we were flying

That I forgot to ask,

"Where exactly are we landing?"
