Lost, I amA Poem by rachielleSaw myself in a newfound land. Lost. Faces rushing here and there; Fear ignites in my soul- afraid, I am.
Colors moving everywhere- From corner to corner- The rain pouring down the poorly cemented street, Crushing it once more. Yet, still, here I stand. Lost. Alone, unmoved, and frightened, I am.
On top of the stairs I stand. Lost. Knowing not what to do; Witnessing the toil of a dragging day, I am.
An hour passed, here I am still. Lost. The rain still pouring, Still finding my way, I am. © 2010 rachielle |
