Twilight

Teardrops fall

As darkness slowly defeats the light-

A catastrophic sight, it is,

As she slowly stepped into the shadow

Like that of a man walking to his grave.

Nevermore, shall this girl see the light

Maybe one last time,

Just to taste it once more-

If the heavens permit;

But until then, nevermore.
