Butterfly

Butterfly

A Poem by rae52
"

for a comp these were the ten words create pattern twirl window butterfly senses breath tea light bare

"

Butterfly

You take flight

Into the light

Your patterned wings

No longer by the window

You twirl and prance

Creating your dance

My senses kick in

I draw a breath

My tea is cold

My bare arms colder still

Goodbye

Butterfly

I like it! It's like you are just watching the butterfly, afraid to move...you dont care if your cold or your tea is cold you just want to watch before it goes.

I love the idea- though I feel it could be improved- come back to the poem in a month- you'll see what needs redoing etc

Well I beg to differ rachi52! I loved its simplicity and imagery you painted with your pen. Thank you so much for submitting this to the "Ten" contest. Helena :)
