I’m shocked and completely devastated at the same time, she still has no idea who I am, not that she ever knew completely.  I wonder if we have ever used this sedative on her before, the fact that her memory has been affected scares me never mind the possibility I will have to wait even longer to find out how angry she is with me.  I realise I haven’t replied to her question.  “My name is Dr. Lucas Hanning but just Lucas is fine,” I watch her panicked expression, my name means nothing to her “Don’t worry Bree we’ve got you on some strong sedatives to keep you nice and relaxed, it’s possible they’re what’s making your mind feel a bit foggy and slow”    Her heart rate shoots up, she begins to edge feebly away from me.  I see the fear in her eyes; suddenly I doubt the effectiveness of this sedative.
