That Car

That Car

A Poem by RachelRedstone

I'm not driving in that car.

That car has been through
snow, rain, ice, and wind.

I'm not driving that car.

That car has bird poop on
and in it from left open windows.

I'm not driving that car.

That car has a big dent in the
back from a falling tree.

I'm not driving that car.

That car has an almost broken
brake from a near accident.

I'm not driving that car.

That car has almost flat tires from
nails at a construction site.

I'm not driving that car.

That car has dents in the engine
hood because of hail.

I'm not driving that car.

That car is missing it's back
license plate from someone
ramming it by accident.

I'm not driving that car.

Is that car even legal to drive?

I really liked the simple and somewhat blatantly realistic vocabulary used in this poem and the way that it accurately expresses the distaste of the writer. Keep writing! Stay awesome!

Yup...I'm pretty sure that make and model and color of car has been in league with the demons. ;)

I wouldn't get into it either.

Thanks for sharing your ink!
