voice of a cherub angel

voice of a cherub angel

A Poem by rachel ann

it hums softly
and sings of baby teeth and lace
chillingly down my spine
your voice mimics a crying angel
looking down at us all
don't we all want to be saved
by the daring angels
and perverted men
dancing in the clouds
looking down humbly at the ones below
suffering
loss
death
life
its all the same in the end
sadness
ever since i heard your voice
you made me believe in angels

Angels and Demons, one really determines the righteous path, which is yours? If fluffy things and white feathered giants satisfy then let the lips part and make way for the aspiring breath it frolics. The others... they can wait

This reminds me of a sultry scene from a noir film. I love the mood and tone to it. It has that dark undertone mixed with a sense of sensuality.

Those last two lines are my favourite. It doesn't take anyone to make you believe in angels. And I love those people that do.

Beautifully penned.

Light cannot be seen unless it is dark. It's amazing how some voices can do this to us. Nicely done!

I like this. very deep. I tend to write from the dark side too.
