I Try to Take The Time

I Try to Take The Time

A Poem by Rachelle
"

A poem about living each day as if it were your last because for some people, it is.

"

I love the way the sunlight comes through the open door and makes a pretty pattern on my bedroom floor.

I wake up in the morning and see the big blue sky, and I wish with all my might, that I wouldn’t ever die.

But life has a way of giving and then taking away and I’m never fully certain if this is my last day.

So I try to take the time to breath and smell the roses

‘Cause I’ll never be able to again the day that death proposes.
