About not finding any words to say so much.

Writer’s block.

My pen wants to move

And express all these feelings

That are swelling inside me.

I want to paint a picture

Of these invisible thoughts

But 26 letters

Don’t seem like enough.

A quarter million words in this language

You’d think that’d be enough

To tell a story;

Enough to construct a single sentence

Or to find a single word

That says it all.

 

But…

 

I’m still looking.
