Moonlight

Moonlight

A Poem by sugarandsap
"

dance

"

Moonlight adores me,

she shines just for me,

with sorrow I dance,

with love she caresses my body,

underwater, free, she begs me to come up,

she asks me for one more dance,

I’m so tired,

it hurts to open eyes in the sea,

the sting of sight saves me,

you don’t have to dance,

she just wants to hold me,

I love you Moon but I am so tired,

Moonlight goes dark,

did she hear me say sorry?

Burning heat warms cold water,

the Sun does not like me,

I am tired from swimming, Sun, allow me air,

no,

I beg for the Moon,

I dance in the Sun rays, they burn,

Please, Sun,

No,

Ocean,

No,

Moonlight I love you,

I should have danced
