Playing Fair

Playing Fair

A Poem by rachpadgett

have you already won?

i thin you might be cheating.

two can play at this game;

looks can be deceiving.

my tongue is as sharp as your warning glance

this isn't chance

you can't walk all over me anymore, anymore

i'm coming to settle the score

we've already lost, already lost

what was the cost, you're here without cause

somewhere the sight

of the finish line dissapeared

he says, i hope your happy now

but you do realize

the winner has to pick up

all the pices, he says

my tongue is as sharp as your warning glance

this isn't chance

you can't walk all over me anymore, anymore

i've already settled the score
