how do you write a sonnet?

if anything is ominous it's this

i laugh outside but inside there is doubt

i'm scared to death to grab your hand and miss

i want to live i'm needing to break out.

 

i want to be the ocean and make waves

the current pulls, the tide becomes the change

how do i know i'll be the one he saves?

he heart for freedom is a fair exchange.

 

the sunset calls my name, the colors breate

of everything i've worked so hard to hide

you will se what's been hiding underneath

as soon as my heart and freedom collide.

 

I want these ocean waves to become me;

from here to California to the sea.
