Sliver Moons Throne

Sliver Moons Throne

A Poem by rachael dunn

Silver bells sing, bid goodbye to this day

As daylights last fire, gives way to grey

Moon-metal upon water, floats a dreaming ship

And silver moons edges, on waters slip.

The Huntress is aiming her silver bow

Shoots star light at us both below.

Delicate, receptive, a moonlit scene

Ionic liquids, on surfaces gleam.

We are sharing Silver moons caress

And through your eyes, azure blue

The clarity of your love rings through

And one final time, the silver chorus sings.

Then the moon is gone, now the sun is king.

This may be the last poem I read tonight before I sleep... and what a beauty it is...
The Huntress is aiming her silver bow
Shoots star light at us both below...

I love how soft the words are... soft as water, that might trickle down a moonbeam.

it was always the sun's light, just borrowed from the spinning rock we call the moon
