The Secrets WithinA Poem by RaccoonFox
We all come from a different past
We all live and die Underneath the secrets of truths we lie the beauty of everything is just on the outside Nothing is as it seems You must learn to read the lines in between Everything is tainted, life and death All changes on a single breath You sit there, life passing you by Why should you even try? That veil of sorrow hidden underneath those smiles The thoughts of the mind covered by decency True feelings hidden waiting to surface Waiting for others to reface reality You, yourself the door that hides it all is about to crumble and fall Let others judge They are only words Don't let them spiral you downwards The only truths are the truths you hold inside © 2013 RaccoonFox |
