O Starry Starry Night

A descriptive experience I had one night in the past

O starry starry night

gazing wonderment at your splendor

far off distance

light upon fresh warm air

this summer night

in question place

I stand in this universe tonight

the longer I walk more questions

I have on this starry moonlit night

as a gentle breeze caresses my face

warm air feels my lungs

fills and face where is my place in the

where universe I asked

as I slowly walked on in

tonight hoping that one

the glaring lights has the answer

that I might take this night

as I stare onto this sparkling mosaic

thousand dancing diamonds in the sky

radiating pulsing down at this lonely creature

as I slowly

and trudge my way of the dark

straight and narrow hill

suddenly here the familiar sound

coasting along

of wheel heading the pavement

as I gaze up atop the hill

beautiful site slowly passes by

still dark and aided by the night

quickly hit up the hill

looking pond this figure

as his dark brown eyes gazed on me

outlined figure slowly smiles at me

he gently says "hi"

as his golden brown body cruises down the hill

at night my pulse races as

I say hi back

the moment is gone

it I never forgot

I still walk upon this starry night

never forgetting the ever wondering

where does this voyage take me

upon this everlasting night

where is my location in this great vast universe

which dancing

like I'm in this crowded space

I'm slowly approaching the destination

a call home

where rests upon my head

well my dreams instead

hobbled home

I rests here now

dreaming upon the stars

in this night upon everlasting

thoughts ever truly resting

this night

until the sudden graceful first of dawn

light in this twilight.
