Hoy Entre Todos

Hoy Entre Todos

A Poem by Richard Parker

You may find today to be somewhat of

A much more difficult an endeavor

To remember those that which we love

Have passed before us, is hard to weather

To know the memories we hold so dear

Are just that and much as we, are fleeting

The future looms as such, inciting drear

Enough to tense and hasten hearts beating

No matter the pain felt while we stumble

Trip and fall while learning this life's lessons

Certain things will never cease to humble

A couple of truths that merit mention

A mother's love knows not mortality:

Remember, it even bests passing's tragedy
