Bye Bye Romance

Bye Bye Romance

A Poem by Relvester

Its a,
sad year for romance
i cant help but to bit the tip of my tongue
i shoulda taken a chance
but now im the only one
without a romance
i watched as girls came and went in my life
and by this time i could have had a to-be-wife
but now im
sitting at at a table for one
watching as the couples have fun in the sun
Its a,
sad year for romance
i cant help but to bit the tip of my tongue
i shoulda taken a chance
but now im the only one
without a romance
I saw you walk in the door
you had my jaw droppin to the floor
you walked up, you said hi, but just as soon as you came-you left,
as i sat idly by...
i swear theres something wrong with me
Its a,
sad year for romance
i cant help but to bit the tip of my tongue
i shoulda taken a chance
but now im the only one
without a romance
i cant help but to see, everlasting beauty
(everywhere i look)
but i stand cursed to the bone
(frozen like stone)
what is happening? what is happening to me?
i feel love
but it always turns to heartache
i guess i never had a chance
LOVE-LIKE-LUST-CRUSH!
i can look but i just cant touch
this heart burns
but it burns alone
