Oopsie

Oopsie

A Poem by Relvester

i strike the hammer i strike the match
i light your life i light the path
i cant forget a world of gray
i live to serve you everyday
as you wish
seal this deal with an angels kiss
i write your name upon my wrists
and as we part and bid farewell
your tongue is mine your life to tell
close your eyes
as i tie this noose around my neck
dont cry
im only inches from the deck
i lost you once ill never lose you again
meet me in the afterlife
i take one last breath
i find the light
i meet my death
you are mine
forever never ends

The energy in this is great, while it is a rather sad poem. Actually, it borders on melodramatic at some parts. Like "i write your name upon my wrists". It would be better without that line. I love the fast pace, but I don't the last line fits very well.

Good poem, either way. I just hope you don't really feel like this. :)
